A lot of us skip decorating for Halloween. Either because we don’t want to turn our homes into a scary movie, or the Halloween colors will clash with our decor, or whatever the reason may be.
I happen to have a (almost) 4 year old daughter who’s been talking about Halloween since last Halloween (no kidding).
So, when I first started thinking about styling a coffee table to post on my blog (link @toochicforwords ), I actually decorated it with a fall theme. However, re-thought about it, because I wanted to share my take on Halloween, following exactly my style, using the colors that I love. I wanted it to complement my living room without compromising my decor http://liketk.it/2pp4V . That’s when I decided, that I was going to switch gears and re-do it all! I know… call me crazy!
In all of this… I just wish I had captured my daughters reaction when she came home and saw the house all decked out. It was, the most, adorable and cutest reaction E V E R – absolutely priceless! I’m not sure if next year her reaction will be the same, but I’ll be ready to capture it! I should mention that we both HATE , but we love the fake ones!
Happy week everyone! @liketoknow.it #liketkit
